Designed to be taken by flautists who have been playing for a few terms, the Flute Prep Test has pieces and tunes, fun listening games and information about the test.

Included are the skills that students will be developing at this stage, such as a sense of rhythm and pitch, accuracy, controlled and even playing, and quality of tone.

The Prep test gives students an introduction to the ABRSM exam experience, with something to aim for and a certificate on the day.
